On April 26, 2022, the Southwest Virginia Center for Sight and Vistar Eye Center officially hosted a grand opening ceremony for their newest state-of-the-art surgery center and clinic in Wytheville, VA.
The celebration included a ribbon cutting for the facility with family, friends, and guests from the surrounding areas. Several dignitaries addressed the crowd during the ribbon cutting ceremony, including: Beth A. Taylor, the Mayor of Wytheville; Josh Hess, the District Director for Congressman Morgan Griffeth; and Dr. Dean Sprinkle, the President of Wytheville Community College and Chairman of the Wytheville-Wythe-Bland Chamber of Commerce.
The new center offers the latest technology and advancements in cataract surgery. Vistar Eye Center has been a leader in providing specialty eye care services which include cataract, retina, glaucoma, and cornea services throughout Southwest Virginia. The Wytheville location will make a true difference in local communities as patients will have much closer access to speciality surgical eye care services.
