About Us

Providing Specialized Eye Care For Every Special Moment

Southwest Virginia Center For Sight is a specialty (ambulatory) outpatient care and surgical center. We provide our full scope of ophthalmology services for patients in the greater Wytheville area with conditions that need attentive, non-emergent care beyond routine eye care treatments. Our facility houses an ocular subspecialty for the purpose of delivering the highest level of distinct surgical eye care and medical access available in our area.

Our Southwest Virginia Center’s 2021 opening is thanks to the 18+ years of trusted comprehensive, specialty surgical procedures, and eye care solutions that our Roanoke Valley Center For Sight is known for. Our fellowship-trained surgeons and staff come into each appointment, surgery, aftercare, and more to diligently provide each patient with human-centered treatment that is solely focused on caring for you and your needs. Each Ophthalmologist that we work with collectively possesses over 50 years in their own respective practice settings that are close in proximity to our local Center.

Our Mission

We strive to create an atmosphere of compassion and understanding while eliminating the stress and anxiety that can arise in a surgical setting. We work with you to personally accommodate a plan of diagnostic and surgical treatment that allows you the patient to feel prepared, aware, and at all times safe in our care. With over 30 ophthalmologists working together to provide comprehensive care, we’re proud of the innovative advancements our centers are able to provide. Our team works to provide new research, products, and ideas to improve our present activities and procedures at our Center.
